Hiring: Store Manager – T & D Substation Projects
Location: Sikkim
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree Engineering or a related field. /Diploma in Material Management or equivalent is a plus!
Experience: 8 years in store/material management for substation projects
Sterling & Wilson is seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee material handling, inventory, and logistics for our T & D Substation Projects. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth operations by maintaining stock accuracy, coordinating with vendors, and optimizing storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Maintain and manage inventory of electrical equipment and materials
✔ Ensure proper storage and handling of high-value assets
✔ Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, and vendors
✔ Track material usage and generate stock reports
✔ Enforce safety and compliance standards
Requirements:
* 8 years of experience in store management for T&D projects
* Knowledge of substation equipment, transformers, and switchgear
* Familiarity with ERP/software for inventory management
* Strong organizational and communication skills
